On behalf of Sunwell Solutions, I am delighted to unveil and swear for the 'Sunwell Japanese Language Academy'. We truly believe there is a need for a language school to meet the engineer shortage in Japanese Industry and to overcome the unemployment issues in India. The bilateral relationship between both democracies India and Japan is getting better, stronger, and bigger than ever in recent years.
Mr. Uganandan and I are the founders of Sunwell Solutions Co., Ltd. Owing to my long-term association with this wonderful human being, I had the opportunity of visiting the magnificent country of India and learn about its historic culture, people, politics, and economic situation, etc.
It is evident that India is one of the fastest growing and one of the largest economies in the world. India ranks 6th on nominal GDP in the world today. Despite its phenomenal rise in the global economic stage, the unemployment rate in India remained high at 8% and around 25,50,000 engineers are jobless.
whereas Japan is a 3rd largest economy with a GDP of 5.2 trillion dollars in 2018, but the aging population leads a shortage of engineers as well as labor which may adversely affect the country`s economy. Japan is reported more than 5,00,000 Engineers shortage in the year 2019.
India produces one of the finest qualified human resources in the world, they can provide a rich source of skills in the fields of information technology, financial sector, and automobiles; and their ability to communicate in English is an added advantage to any globalized economy. We thought there is a need to break the paradox by matching the potential of India's human resources with the ever-growing human resource needs of Japan.
Japanese prime minister considers the shortage of Engineers would be a major threat to their economy. Japan easing the visa policies for IT and Engineers and offering the permanent resident with the shortest duration to overcome the human resource gap. He plans to induct more than 300,000 Engineers within five years of span
Considering these new developments, I personally feel that Japan could be the perfect place for skilled Indian human capital. I sincerely believe that Japan provides one of the best working opportunities in the fields of Engineering, science and technology and a worthy destination for any aspiring mind.
I am of great hope that our Academy would become a harbinger of a bright future to the unique, young, aspiring, and qualified Indian engineers.
